Why I Oughta... Gun Training Keeps You Safe
Gun training is one of those things that so few Americans know and understand fully, that most Americans are just afraid of it. The other two things are war and religion, but that's a conversation for another time. Gun training is something that a tiny percentage of Americans truly understands. The vast majority of Americans are, I'm sure, under the impression that gun training is only good for killing those who actually try and get it. Most Americans have convinced themselves that only the armed forces and the police should have access to guns - and therefore gun training - so no one else should even be interested in receiving such training. Front Sight and Dr. Ignatius Piazza think differently.
Gun training is what keeps Americans safe, this much we must all know. Our troops, wherever they may be, have extensive training in the use of their firearms and ammunition, there is no doubt that gun training keeps American safe. Police officers are the same way: their understanding of firearms and handgun training - and perhaps shotgun training and rifle training as well - keep the streets and our children safe. But what about your next door neighbor having a loaded semi-automatic pistol on his bed stand, does that keep you safe? Well, I suppose that depends on whether or not you trust your neighbors.
Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is America's leader in firearms training. More students are trained at Front Sight than at all other shooting schools in America combined - that's quite a statistic for a gun school that could still be considered in its adolescence. Front Sight encourages all Americans to understand and realize that responsibility is not something that can be given away and never thought of again. Front Sight urges Americans to realize that just because our police and our soldiers have gun training doesn't mean we shouldn't too. Gun training makes guns safe, and all Americans should have Front Sight's training.Back to the CNN Article on Front Sight.
